I wonder if anyone on this site will ever utter 'track day' without 'bro' again?

Please keep those proportions for production. As is, it looks like a mini-Viper. Just think of what the Alfa could have looked like.

Yeah, I'm not even a huge Miata guy but these thing are sexy. A lot of sculpted body work, especially in the back. I realize the pic sucks, but low light potato.

Is the front end longer, or am I crazy? It has a certain extra long hood, short rear end end look to it over the current one.

agree. The rear end is super short which makes it feel longer up front. Kind of like a mini Viper like se one said above. Kind of tough to tell with all the tape on the front clip.

Was that in Beatty, NV? Many of the European and American and Japanese test for hot weather conditions in Death Valley in summer and are based in Beatty. If you ever go in the summer, stop at the Sourdough Saloon. They all leave memorabilia of the manufacturers and their cars which are hung on the walls. Excellent food, too.

Interesting, but no, this is in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I'm here periodically and the summer is always interesting because of all the test mules. Saw some 4C test mules last year. Usually it's just standard stuff though.

I love the Miata but the Fiat/Abarth/whatever version with my 1.4T has me extremely interested. I'm hoping the price is right.

Not surprising, though. A few years ago I was near L H C and stopped in a gas station and grabbed some cold water and went around the side in the shade and there was 3 crappy looking bikes and 3 overheated looking riders. Started talking to them and they drove disguised test mules for Harley every day 5 days a week. Whew. I don't care how much it paid.
